Ralph Ellison

Ralph Waldo Ellison fue un reconocido autor de ficción literaria en los Estados Unidos, nacido en Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Nombrado en honor al famoso filósofo y ensayista estadounidense, Ralph Waldo Emerson, el padre de Ellison le confirió un potente namesake que presagiaría su propio éxito literario.

Ellison es mejor conocido por su novela innovadora "Invisible Man", que ganó el Premio Nacional del Libro en 1953. Esta obra seminal explora la experiencia afroamericana, una que a menudo es invisible para la cultura dominante. A través de su escritura, Ellison saca a la luz las complejidades de la raza, la identidad y el sentido de pertenencia, ofreciendo un comentario profundo y duradero sobre la condición humana.
