William Wilberforce

William Wilberforce fue un político británico, filántropo y destacado abolicionista, conocido principalmente por su campaña de toda la vida contra el comercio transatlántico de esclavos. Como miembro del Parlamento, desempeñó un papel fundamental en la aprobación de la Slave Trade Act de 1807, que abolió el comercio de esclavos en el Imperio Británico.
