Tom Wolfe

Thomas Kennerly Wolfe, más conocido como Tom Wolfe, fue un reconocido autor y periodista estadounidense, nacido el 2 de marzo de 1930 en Richmond, Virginia, Estados Unidos. Fue una figura clave en el movimiento del Nuevo Periodismo, que combinó técnicas literarias con el periodismo, y también es famoso por acuñar el término "fiction-absolute".

Wolfe comenzó su carrera como periodista en un pequeño periódico regional durante la década de 1950, logrando finalmente renombre nacional con la publicación de sus libros bestsellers en la década siguiente. Su escritura a menudo indagó en los intríngulis de la mente humana, concentrándose en decisiones inconscientes y extravagancias del comportamiento y el lenguaje.
