¡ Sherryl Clark es una autora muy prolífica, originaria de Nueva Zelanda y ahora residente en Australia! Ha escrito más de 70 libros, incluyendo literatura infantil, novelas para jóvenes adultos, poesía y ficción criminal. La pasión de Clark por la ficción criminal comenzó con autores como Mickey Spillane, James Ellroy y Raymond Chandler. Aunque inició su carrera literaria centrándose en la literatura infantil y para jóvenes adultos, nunca abandonó su entusiasmo por la ficción criminal y continuó escribiendo en el género para su propio disfrute.
El primer libro infantil de Clark, "The Too-Tight Tutu" ("El tutú demasiado apretado"), fue publicado en 1997, y desde entonces, ha escrito más de 60 libros para niños y jóvenes adultos.
