Mariko Tamaki es una escritora muy destacada, originaria de Toronto, Canadá. Es conocida por su trabajo como escritora, dramaturga, activista y performer. Tamaki ha trabajado con diversos grupos, incluyendo el grupo activista de personas gordas Pretty Porky and Pissed Off y la troupe de teatro TOA.
